Welcome to the website for Camp Challenge, a Christian camp located at the edge of the Las Padres National Forest on the beautiful Central Coast of California. Browse this site and catch the flavor of a camping experience that has been bringing change to the lives of young people since 1950. Housed in the newly built dorms of the Lopez Canyon Conference Center, girl and boy campers can enjoy the rugged beauty of California's coastal mountain range while tucked away in a canyon surrounded by oaks, brush, steep crags, and Lopez Creek.

Camp Challenge 2009, "Pioneers for Christ," examines many aspects of Christianity and how it is applicable today. We do not typcially think of Christianity as pioneering in this, the 21st century. However, every day with Jesus is a new pioneering experience, and we find opportunity to enter into new arenas where we have never gone before, or enter in for the sake of others who have never heard the Good News before. We expect Camp Challenge to be as exciting as ever, a true pioneering experience for each camper.
